It’s Never Too Early to Start Thinking about Valentine’s Marketing

Our office just re-opened on 4 January 2010 and we’re now ready to start the New Year. My young son is away on Scout Jamboree for 10 days in Sydney. I’m certainly missing him and look forward to his return.

In the meanwhile, we’re getting ready for our Cash Character workshop, which is going to be running 27-28 February, 2010. This workshop is specifically designed to teach you how to create winning personal stories that will attract and persuade. If you are interested in reaching the top of your niche, and who isn’t, this is an event you do not want to miss. Go to: http://cashcharacters.com/ for more info and some great freebies! Make sure you mark your calendars and reserve your seat!

Now that we’re getting started with the New Year, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. You may not have thought about it if you are not in the candy and flower business, but this is actually an excellent time to promote your business. How is that? An excellent way to create some buzz about your company this time of year is to create a fun video and post it on YouTube. Use it to promote a special service or product or show your customers how much they mean to you. Video is explosive. Today it’s one of the most popular forms of marketing and message deliver.

Implementing your video does not need to be difficult. Consider these tips:

• Try to avoid straight out advertising. Focus on creating something fun, quirky, attention getting. Consider using a demonstration of a product in a way that is exciting or fascinating.

• Give your video a title that is relevant. Make sure it includes at least one keyword that is directly related to your service or product.

• Build up to your video by talking about on your website, email and social networking before you actually post it to create interest.

• After you post your video, ask for feedback. This will help you to improve future videos and help to establish communication with customers. Make sure you ask viewers to submit an email address when they comment to help build a mailing list.

That’s it for now!

P.S. There are currently some positions available in the Hot New Buyer Fast Start program. If you’re looking to get leads fast and save money doing it, this is the event for you! To find out more, go to: http://crocodilemarketing.com/hotnewbuyer/
